Eat this!

Have you ever felt a craving for something fresh and green and deliciously simple? I sometimes do. We all know we should eat a salad everyday, but do we? I don't! Which is silly considering I really love salads. And I love simple, elegant and yet surprising combinations, so this piece from the New York Times was great to read.

Look at this picture: Every one of those salads is making me drool! Hope you enjoy the recipes. Now excuse me while I go dig out that feta I bought the other day! YUM!

Our camera is on the fritz again, and is being really difficult to work with, but I managed to snag a couple of pics of these chocolate chocolate chip cookies that came out yummier than they look! I was really thrilled because I'm not a cookie person, although I frequently bake cakes.

The original recipe has TWICE the amount of chocolate chips in it, but these were still really choclatey!

The cocoa and the flour together reminded me of those unbelievable candy cane glaciers.

My first homemade bread!

This lovely loaf was my first! I baked it in my Breadman Pro bread maker, that I bought off Amazon, months ago. I just couldn't get around to using it all this while, but I think I'm hooked!
